In celebration of World Chocolate Day this Sunday 7 July, Gelatissimo is releasing a limited-edition Death by Chocolate range. With four rich and luxurious new chocolate flavours to choose from, the Death by Chocolate range will make you forget it’s winter for long enough to indulge in this sacred day with a scoop of decadent gelato. It may not warm your hands but it will definitely warm your soul.
The delicious new range will feature four incredibly indulgent flavours that will be available in Gelatissimo stores across Australia from Friday 5 July. Kick off with a scoop of Choc Caramel Fudge, a rich chocolate and caramel gelato swirled with caramel fudge and sprinkled with dark chocolate flakes. Next up, a scoop of Rocky Road, a choc-coconut gelato topped with marshmallows, coconut and peanuts. Take it one scoop further with White Choc & Raspberry, a white chocolate gelato with refreshing raspberry coulis and white chocolate flakes. And last but certainly not least, top it all off with Chocolate Made With Lindt, a pure chocolate gelato made with everyone’s favourite, Lindt chocolate.
As an added excuse to take part in World Chocolate Day (not that we needed one), Gelatissimo will also be giving away free warm Nutella drizzle nationwide to go with any scoop. It’s a one day offer only though, so make sure you head in this Sunday to order your chocolate with a side of chocolate.
“We’re firm advocates for eating gelato all year round but as the weather gets colder there’s definitely something comforting about really creamy and decadent gelato flavours,” says Gelatissimo CEO, Filipe Barbosa. “World Chocolate Day was the perfect excuse to develop a new range of rich and delicious chocolate flavours because everything, even winter, is better with chocolate.”
The Death by Chocolate range will be available in all 46 stores across Australia for a limited time over the winter period, while stocks last.
