Amazing offers and experiences across all three levels to beat the winter blues.
Wednesday 3 July 2019
Barangaroo House is bringing the heat this winter, with a unique experience across all three levels that will make you forget about the cold weather. Launching from today, the unique multi-level waterfront destination will partner with Veuve Clicquot and Belvedere Vodka to transform into a winter chalet, complete with igloos and fondue on the Smoke Rooftop, Bea-tinis and wine dinners at Bea and and an array of spiced martinis at House Bar.
Starting at the top, sophisticated rooftop bar, Smoke will become the ultimate winter wonderland with large pop-up igloos across its outdoor terrace. Adorned with lanterns and twinkling fairy lights, the igloos are the perfect way to have a drink “under the stars” without having to brave the winter cold. While inside, you can order a decadent pot of cheese or chocolate fondue or baked truffle camembert with a glass of Veuve Clicquot champagne, a hot Bloody Mary or a cauldron of mulled wine to share between six.
On wintery weekends up at Smoke, $95 will buy you bottomless champagne and a lunch of “alpine snacks”. From 12 - 3pm, you can feast on toasted cashews, sourdough, wagyu bresaola, pork skewers, toasties, hot chips and more while enjoying free-flowing champagne to warm yourself from the inside out. Meanwhile, from 5pm every weekday, the first five 1.5L magnums of Veuve Clicquot sold will be available for only $145 per bottle.
Head down one level to Barangaroo House’s restaurant, Bea, and you can defrost with some of Tom Haynes’ wood-fired dishes while you work your way through the winter drink offers. Order from a range of mini Belvedere Vodka martinis, or “Bea-tinis”, for $10 any day of the week, pairing a mini classic martini with a serve of charred tiger prawns fresh off the coals or a mini Gibson martini with spatchcock chicken and green rice stuffing. You can also indulge in a wine alongside the winemaker at one of Bea’s seasonal four-course wine dinners or intimate winemaker lunches. Head online to lock in a date with Cloudy Bay winemaker Victor Joyeux on 17 July, talk organics and biodynamics with Vanya Cullen on 4 July or make chit-chat about vintage with Michael Hall of Michael Hall wines on 29 August.
And finally, down on the ground level at House Bar, Belvedere Vodka is bringing the heat with a range of spiced martinis. Enjoy the taste of winter with options such as a chilli choc espresso martini, spiced apple martini, Belvedere Vodka mule or smoked rosemary martini.
The winter makeover and the full list of “Bring the Heat” offers will be available across all three levels at Barangaroo House until the end of August.
