The Cru, which has recently opened an office in Melbourne, will manage all PR communications for Food + Wine Victoria including the prestigious Melbourne Food and Wine Festival 2020, now in its 28th year, and Global Table, Asia-Pacific’s largest agrifood innovation event.
Food + Wine Victoria CEO Anthea Loucas Bosha said The Cru bring unrivalled experience in the food communications space with a client roster including Tourism Australia, who they worked with on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants event in Melbourne and a suite of chefs and restaurants including Kylie Kwong, Jock Zonfrillo, the Solotel group including ARIA and Chiswick, Noma Australia and Mexico, and in Melbourne, Lake House in Daylesford and the Made In The Shade group including The Everleigh Bottling Co. “The Cru bring a national and international outlook to Food + Wine Victoria. We look forward to working with them to help us tell the great Victorian food story to Melburnians, to the rest of Australia and to the world,” said Loucas Bosha.
Spearheading The Cru’s Melbourne operation is Alice Dodge, a highly experienced communications specialist. Alice joined The Cru from Red Havas Melbourne where she was Senior Account Director managing clients including Toyota Australia where she led their lifestyle PR program. Prior to Red Havas, Alice worked for Klick X and BLACK, where she delivered successful campaigns for leading hospitality, destination and lifestyle brands such as The Fink Group, Moët Hennessy, Jaguar Land Rover, One&Only Resorts, and InterContinental Hotels Group.
Jeanine Bribosia, founder and managing director of The Cru, said: “We have worked in Melbourne for many years, and have some incredible clients there. With so many great operators in that city, we have waited until we felt we really understood the market and had the right mix of clients and talent on the ground to open The Cru Melbourne. We couldn’t think of a more fitting client to announce this move with than Food + Wine Victoria and visionary CEO Anthea Loucas Bosha. With Alice at the helm, this is an exciting new chapter for The Cru.”
