TheFork, a leading global online restaurant reservation platform, launches TheFork Festival: six weeks of delicious dining experiences starting July 1 - at half the regular price - to inspire Australian diners to ditch the couch this winter, and get out to discover the diversity of their local restaurant scene.
Diners will receive a huge 50% off the total food bill at participating restaurants during the festival (July 1 - August 11), across all services at participating restaurants, whether that be breakfast, lunch or dinner.
TheFork Festival expands upon the hundreds of constantly evolving special offers available year-round on TheFork. This year, more than 250 restaurants around the country are taking part in the festival, making it the perfect opportunity for diners to check out a new venue they’ve been meaning to try, or to revisit an old favourite - with the extra incentive of a bill half the price at the end of the meal.
Savvy diners can take advantage of TheFork Festival to try decadent dishes, extra sides and desserts or to eat out more often without blowing the monthly budget.
“We know that reservation numbers are typically down in July across Australia, and this is just one of the ways that we can incentivise diners to get out through winter whether that means revisiting your local favourite, or discovering somewhere new each week.” says Kate Young, Communications Manager for TheFork.
Restaurants to watch out for during TheFork Festival include:
NSW: Monopole, Queen Chow Manly, Berowra Waters Inn, Fratelli Fresh (Alexandria and Crows Nest), Din Tai Fung (Chatswood, Central Park, Miranda), Pilu at Freshwater
VIC: Beau Kitchen & Cellar, Alibi Kitchen & Bar, St. LuJa, Lezzet Anatolian Kitchen
QLD: The French Bistrot, Comuna Cantina, River Quay Fish, Corbett & Claude (Garden City)
SA: Henry’s Table, Laneway Espresso House, Red Ochre Grill
WA: Prince Lane, Springs Kitchen Perth, Street Eats Eatery and Angove Kitchen & Espresso Bar
This year has seen much innovation for TheFork in Australia, which rebranded from Dimmi in January 2019. In May, TheFork launched INSIDER, a curated list of the most sought after restaurants in Australia, giving diners a foolproof list of restaurants to try in their city and showing an additional way to support restaurants not participating in special offers throughout the year.
TheFork Festival offer is available when you book at a participating restaurant by visiting www.thefork.com.au or via TheFork app.
